Lupton at Road America:
Dylan will be making his second career XFINITY Series start at Road America. His previous start occurred during the 2015 season where he steered his way to a 13th place finish.

The start will mark Lupton’s 20th career start in the NASCAR XFINITY Series.

Dylan’s Thoughts on Road America:
“After a relaxing weekend off, I am ready to get back to the track at Road America. Road America is one of my favorite tracks on our schedule, with its long straights, tricky braking zones, and diverse corners throughout the track. The last two road courses have shown that our No. 24 Nut Up Industries Camry has speed and we can compete in the top 10. We just need to keep our nose clean throughout the race and minimize our mistakes on the track and pit road to get us the finish we deserve.”

Dylan Lupton's Strong Run Halted by Late Race Melee

LEXINGTON, OHIO (August 14, 2017) – Dylan Lupton returned to the site of his career best NASCAR XFINITY Series finish on Saturday and was in position to better that finish. Unfortunately, Lupton and his No. 24 Nut Up Toyota was caught up in a late race wreck which ended his day and relegated him to a disappointing 27th place finish in the running of the Mid-Ohio Challenge at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

“We had a top-10 car today and were well on our way to finishing that way,” said Lupton. “We just got caught up in that big wreck late in the race on the restart – they all wrecked in front of me and there really wasn’t much I could do. I really hate it for everyone on this JGL Racing team – they gave me a fast No. 24 Nut Up Toyota today and we were putting together a really good finish.”

Dylan would start the 75-lap event from the 15th position as a result of his qualifying effort earlier in the day. At the drop of the green flag, Lupton would display the speed in his No. 24 Nut Up Toyota and quickly climb inside the top-10. Dylan and his JGL Racing team would use some early pit strategy and pit under caution just before the end of the first stage which placed him in the 21st spot at the end of the stage.

After pit stops cycled through, Lupton would start the second stage in the 12th position and he would remain there for the caution free second stage. Stating that he was needing some more rear grip, Dylan would bring the No. 24 Nut Up Toyota down pit road at the end of the second stage for service.

The remaining 35 laps of the Mid-Ohio Challenge was action filled with multiple on track incidents to avoid. Dylan would restart in the 22nd position but he would once again show the speed of his No. 24 Nut Up Toyota as he climbed through the field and was knocking on the door to the top-10 with less than 10 laps remaining. Unfortunately, on a late race restart Dylan was left with nowhere to go as multiple cars in front of him started a chain reaction wreck ultimately collecting the No. 24 Nut Up Toyota. With extensive damage ending his day and his run at a top finish, Lupton was relegated to a disappointing 27th place finish.”

As frustrating as the finish is for us – we need to focus on the positives of having another fast No. 24 Nut Up Toyota,” added Dylan. “Our finishes will start to come if we keep having the speed. Again, I want to thank Nut Up for their continued support as well as Ohio Valley Manufacturing who joined us this week in Mid-Ohio.”

The JGL Racing team will next head to Bristol Motor Speedway for the running of the Food City 300. The 22nd race of the NASCAR XFINITY Series season will be Friday August 18th and can be seen LIVE on NBC Sports Network at 7:30 pm ET. It can also be heard on Performance Racing Network (PRN) and SiriusXM Channel 90.

Mid-Ohio 200 – Saturday August 12th at 3:30 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network

Radio: Motor Racing Network (MRN), Sirius/XM Radio Channel 90

Lupton at Mid-Ohio:
Dylan will be making his second career XFINITY Series start at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. His previous start occurred during the 2015 season where he steered his way to a career best ninth place finish.

The start will mark Lupton’s 19th career start in the NASCAR XFINITY Series.

Dylan’s Thoughts on Mid-Ohio:
“I am very excited to head back to Mid-Ohio, where I recorded my best NASCAR Xfinity finish back in 2015. Last weekend, we had good speed at Watkins Glen, which is promising leading into this weekend. We are gonna make a few changes to our car from last week and I am confident we can get a great finish. ”

“I like heading to Mid Ohio because of how technical of a track it is, where you are having to set up for the next corner as soon as you exit the previous one. As always, I am thankful for the continued support from Nut Up Industries.”

Mid-Ohio Associate Sponsor:
JGL Racing welcomes Associate Sponsorship this weekend on the No. 24 Nut Up Toyota from Ohio Valley Manufacturing (OVM). OVM is a heavy gauge blanking and stamping company located in Mansfield, Ohio. As part of their sponsorship this weekend, the No. 24 Nut Up Toyota and team hauler will be on display at the Ohio Valley Manufacturing corporate location on Thursday.

Dylan Lupton Relegated to 20th Place Finish in Watkins Glen

WATKINS GLEN, NEW YORK (August 7, 2017) – Dylan Lupton is a fan of turning right and left and he entered the first road course event of the season at Watkins Glen International with much optimism. The Wilton, California native would show good speed in his No. 24 Nut Up Toyota before pit strategy relegated him to a 20th place finish in the running of the Zippo 200.

“We were competitive from the drop of the green flag and were able to pick up spots on the track,” said Lupton. “Unfortunately, our pit strategy didn’t fall in our favor and we lost a lap to the leaders. We were easily a top 15 car. I am looking forward to the next two road courses, where we can capitalize on a good day and get us a good finish.”

Dylan would start the 82-lap event from the 23rd position as a result of his qualifying effort earlier in the day. At the drop of the green flag, Lupton would show good speed in his No. 24 Nut Up Toyota and work his way forward in the field. With varying pit strategies being implemented at the end of the first stage, Dylan would be sitting in the 14th spot at the end of the stage.

A trip down pit road before the second stage would see Dylan lose some track position and restart in the 23rd position. Once again, the No. 24 Nut Up Toyota would show its speed and move up through the field and sit just outside the top-10 at the end of the second stage.

With some aggressive pit strategy being implement, Dylan would stay out on the track after the second stage with sights set on making just one more stop. The strategy ultimately didn’t play out in Lupton’s favor as he was forced to pit under green on lap 52. The later stages of the Zippo 200 would see Dylan fight for every spot in the track and come home with the top-20 finish when the checkered flag flew.

“We had a fast No. 24 Nut Up Toyota today and that felt good,” added Dylan. “I really appreciate all of the hard work from the guys on this JGL Racing team and the great support from Nut Up Industries. We will set our sights next on Mid-Ohio.”

Lupton and the JGL Racing team will next head to Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course for the running of the Mid-Ohio 200. The 21st race of the NASCAR XFINITY Series season will be Saturday August 12th and can be seen LIVE on NBC Sports Network at 3:30 pm ET. It can also be heard on Motor Racing Network (MRN) and SiriusXM Channel 90.

Dylan Lupton's Frustrating Day Nets 25th Place Finish in Iowa

NEWTON, IOWA (July 31, 2017) – Dylan Lupton has made his career debut at various tracks this season and for obvious reasons he looked forward to returning to Iowa Speedway for the second time of the 2017 campaign. Unfortunately, the Wilton, California native had a frustrating day behind the wheel of his No. 24 Nut Up Toyota on his way to a disappointing 25th place finish in the running of the US Cellular 250.

“This was a very frustrating weekend,” said Lupton. “We just didn’t have speed in our No. 24 Nut Up Toyota but it wasn’t from lack of effort as the guys on this JGL Racing team worked their tails off. I just battled being a little too loose on entry as we just went into a four-wheel slide into the corner. We got it a little better there late in the race but we had lost so much that we couldn’t recover from it.”

Dylan would start the 250-lap event from the 32nd position as a result of his qualifying effort earlier in the day. With his work cut out for him, Lupton would battle the loose on entry condition for the 60 laps of the first stage. He would find himself losing a lap to the leaders and in the 27th position at the completion of the stage.

The second stage would find Dylan continue to battle the handling on his No. 24 Nut Up Toyota and fight for valuable track position. As he would lose another lap to the leaders, Lupton would remain in the 27th position as the second stage came to a completion.

The second half of the race would find the JGL Racing crew make some adjustments to the No. 24 Nut Up Toyota which would improve the handling. Lupton would be forced to pit under green flag conditions as a result of taking the wave around at the end of the second stage – thus losing additional laps to the field. Dylan would fight for a few valuable spots in the late stages of the event and would take the checkered flag in the 25th spot.

“Just not the result we were looking for this weekend,” added Dylan. “I really appreciate all of the hard work from the guys on this JGL Racing team and the great support from Nut Up Industries. It is now time to turn our attention to some road course racing.”

Lupton and the JGL Racing team will next head to Watkins Glen International for the running of the Zippo 200. The 20th race of the NASCAR XFINITY Series season will be Saturday August 5th and can be seen LIVE on NBC Sports Network at 2:00 pm ET. It can also be heard on Motor Racing Network (MRN) and SiriusXM Channel 90.
